For fun...

I'm going to see if I can remember all of those that I know that are pregnant or just had a baby in the last 4 months. I was at Babies R Us tonight looking at 3 different baby registries. Wow.

Here we go!

Lindsey had baby Katie Christian April 3

Sally had baby Tyler Conley on April 20th

Jessica had baby Ilsa (pronounced eye-la) Dawn on July 7th

Melissa had baby Madison Bella on July 12th

Karlena is due in August and is currently in the hospital on watch due to her blood pressure
Rita is due in August
Jaime is due in October
Andi is due October 22
Leslie is due October 31
Autumn is due November 10
Mya is due in November
Lisa is due January 9
Breanne is due January 19

I'm pretty sure I'm missing 2, but I can't think of who that is at the moment... 4 recent births and at least 9 are expecting and I know of others that are currently trying. I guess that is what happens in a recession, right?

**Edit** I guess I should add Patty to this list! Congrats Patty!

And I also forgot to mention that I there are 2 ladies at work that had a baby. One in June and one July 5. **End Edit**

Jason is 30!

July 3 was Jason's 30th birthday. We spent the weekend of the 4th in Vegas. We had a decent time. We went with some of his best friends which actually meant this was my first time in Vegas with people that were not my family. Friday night we had dinner at Yolos Mexican Grill in Planet Hollywood. It was very good food. Afterwards, the whole group knew that Jason's one thing he wanted to do while in Vegas for his birthday was see the Bellagio fountain show. So, what do we do? We board a bus to Fremont Street.  We spent some time exploring it and the Fremont Street experience then we headed back. As Jason and I were tired from not having slept well in our Flagstaff/no AC room the night before, we went to bed and everyone else stayed out and did Vegas. Saturday, the 4th we used it as a celebration for another friend who was turning 30 on the 5th. Jason and I wandered around the Venetian and saw a wedding on a gondola and went to go see the Palazo. I loved the umbrellas they have in the transition from the Venetian to the Palazo. So pretty. With our baby fever, we were both thinking that it would be a cute idea for a nursery, if only we had a bigger room for it. One umbrella and we'd be maxed out! We made sure to hit up Serendipity 3 for the Frozen Hot Chocolate which was delicious! That night it was Musashi Japanese Steakhouse for dinner (teppan yakki). Our chef was fantastic! Very entertaining and very funny. And, the food was just wonderful. We were all pleasantly surprised. But, everyone was pleasantly surprised with the bill once they realized how many Saki Bombers they had (Jason and I thought about that ahead of time and had water to drink - we had beverages waiting in the hotel room). Afterwards, we went to see Holly Madison in Peepshow. It was cute and I don't think I can ever look at classic nursery rhymes the same way. Sadly, Sunday came and it was back to Phoenix.

I caved

I knew I had no reason to think otherwise, what were the chances that on our first month of (not really)TTC that it would happen, not to mention that I have PCOS. But, after having normal periods like clockwork since November, I am 3 days late. I started feeling things and telling myself that I was extremely tired all of a sudden and such. I knew that it was all psychological and that I was not pregnant. Yet, today on the way home I went and spent money on a test to pee on a stick.

I'm still right. Where are you AF? I'm ready to get back to day 1!
